Very good condition; some cover wear, hinges cracked, good interior pages, page 282 has an illustration cut out. There is a signature page at rear of book signed by the sister of Civil War and Marine Corps author, Richard "Dick" Wheeler, member of the 3rd platoon, the 1st flag raiser on Mt. Suribachi (signed Margery Wheeler Mattox).
